The Seventh Article explains what is needed to be done to have the Constitution approved. The delegates at the Constitutional Convention approved the Constitution on September 17, 1787. When the delegates signed their names on the Constitution, they approved or ratified it. Then the Constitution was sent to the state legislators for them to approve. Nine out of thirteen states had to approve the Constitution before it could be provided to everyone. This article was needed to explain how to accept the Constitution in our country.
